Any chance the band is playing anywhere the week of August 20-September 2?
hey: flying in on the 15th of sept 2011 on our annual pilgrimage to see TOP that weekend. We cannot believe our good fortune to see that your great band will be doing a show on that evening at the green valley. We always been unlucky not to see the band due to scheduling and this is truly a blessing that you will be performing that night. We cannot wait, save a 2x tee shirt for me. We sincerely thank you for doing this show. may the horns be with you!
You guys are the BEST !!!!!!
Seen you many times, and watched you (on a bootleg/uncensored copy from Kip Adotta) you on nthe Drew Carey Roast a long time ago.
Have you ever tried “In and out of Love Blues” by Edgar Winter and White Trash? What about “Killin’ Floor” by Electric Flag? You would NAIL those!!!!
Came to The Ovation Lounge for the first time last night (July 28th 2011). Absolutely blown away by the performance, the talent and the enthusiasum of the entire band.
Am looking forward to returning to see the band again, and will most certainly be bringing friends along so that they too, can have a fabulous night out, with incredible entertainment !!
Will you be in Vegas during Sept 2012? If so, where?
Thanks, John

“What a double header to end a week – both GVR Ovation and M Rovello. Fantastic
shows on Thurs and Fri. Very much worth the day of vacation, the hotel
reservation and the $4.25 per gallon to drive up from LA. THANK YOU Band !!!”
Great show tonight. Music was hot. Liked all of your song choices..too many to mention as it was all great. Was sitting right down front & center. Earlier had one of the writiers for Vegas Voice with me writing and taking photos of you. From the ol’ Riv days till now..you’re still the best band in town. You are such a natural conductor. Great style. All the best, Carol Joyce
I “discovered” and then followed the band a bit on YouTube, and was able to get to L.V. to see them for the first time on Oct 21 at the Revello Lounge. I was blown away. Beyond being an “allstar” horn band, the musicianship, vocals and harmony are the best! The band played some back side Beatles music and did McCartney’s “Jet” better than I’ve ever heard it played. They are so good that I flew in to Vegas on 11-10 just to see the 20th anniversary show. Got my t-shirt and another copy of the CD for my brother-in-law. I will make the drive or flight as often as I can. This band is not to be missed. BTW, the #4 track on the CD, “This Story Must Be Told”, written by Doc of Tower of Power, is the absolute best!
First saw the LBASB at The M Resort in early October. I was shocked that a “lounge band” could play so well, covering tunes I’ve loved for 30 or 40 years. The next night, I saw Donald Fagen perform at The Joint with Boz Scaggs and Michael McDonald. Frankly, the LBASB was a shade better than The Dukes of September – especially the horns. Harmonies, punctuation, solos – the LBASB horns work for me. The rhythm section is its own ‘engine room’. As close to perfection as I’ve ever heard.
Now I’m a devotee. Enjoyed the 20th Anniversary show at The Ovation Room as well as the 12/9 performance. Looking forward to The M show Thursday. I’m draggin’ along all my grey-beard buddies to infuse a little energy into their lives too. What’s not to like about the LBASB as my local band? Keep cookin’!
Lon, I was at your show on Dec 9th and had a great time. I don’t know how the All Star Band can be so tight when my band plays 2 or 3 times a year and we are not as tight. Thanks for everything. Butch

I have seen your band perform at Arizona Charlies, Green Valley, M Resort many times and I always bring a friend. I picketed on behalf of live music back in ’83 for a reason, to support bands like you for evenings of heartfelt entertainment that a CD will never replace. We need music with skin on. God Bless!!!
Happy Anniversary to the band! Last night’s red carpet spectacular at GVR was incredible, and all of us meetup regulars were honored to be able to be rocked and funked by you.
Hi Guys,Caught your show at Green Valley Sept. Im a working muso down here in NZ.several Horn players I work with had told me to check you out..I was not disappointed.!! Just when I thought the night couldnt get any better, much to our surpise you featured Larry Braggs…Many thanks,Your show was one of the Highlites of our Vegas trip.!!…Keep on Doin It…Regards,Mike.
I just love the show you put on! I’ve seen you several times at GVR and love the variety of songs and guest stars. Last Thursday at GVR was so amazing that I’m headed out to M to catch your show tonight. I mean, seriously, folks, where else can you see a very talented live band perform for free? And ending the show with “white punks on dope?” Awesome! I’ll follow you guys (and gals) anywhere! But please stay at GVR.
ps. please tell the management at GVR to put more wait staff on duty during your show. They’d sell a lot more liquor that way!
Keith, my cousin Kristyne (you named a base guitar after her) would like you to contact her. you can email me and i will provide the information to you.
Lon, the band was awesome last night (9/23), as always! Always love seeing Michael Johnson perform with you guys. And Domenick Allen rocked OUT!! Of course, you HAVE to continue to have Jim Buck play, and sing, with you; he is incredible! Our meetup group always has a great time listening and dancing to you all.
CAN’T WAIT UNTIL YOU APPEAR AGAIN AT THE M HOTEL. SINCE YOU HAVE FLUTE PLAYERS CAN YOU DO …MARSHALL TUCKER ..PRETTY LITTLE LOVE SONG OR CAN’T YOU SEE………JIM BUCK COULD SING THESE SONGS…AND WOULD ADD TO A ALREADY GREAT SHOW YOU ALL DO THANKS
I have seen your show a number of times and its always fantastic but on August 12 at the Green Valley Ranch there was some pure magic happening. Best show ever , you rocked the house! See you this Thursday with our meet up group.
We only get to Vegas 3-4 times a year and schedule our trips when you are doing your thing. Saw you last in April and I need my Lon Bronson All-Star Band FIX….. We saw that you were booked at the East side Cannery next week-end so made arrangements to catch you at both GVR and the East Side Thurs. and Fri. Felix Caveliere is at the North Cannery Sat nite. I may try to drag him down to catch some of your Sat. nite show. Anxious to see you next week.

Great show tonight. Enjoyed Jim Buck and Jimmy Mccintash playing. Could you let Jim Buck sing more songs?? Rick is good but not as good as Jim Buck singing. Please include more Jim singing and less Rick. Tony Is excellent singer if he could be there more. thanks for a great show
Lon,
Fantastic show on Thursday with “The Cheap Trick Singers”! It was so great seeing everyone…again, including your beautiful Joanne. The sound just keeps getting better and better!
